  2. Contractor Substitutions: Sometimes, specified items are unavailable, or construction details are complex, and contractors may suggest alternatives. We are available review the proposed change to ensure they meet project requirements.
  3. Unforeseen Circumstances: Despite meticulous planning, unexpected issues like gas lines, ground conditions, supply or structural challenges can arise. Having the design team available to evaluate solutions is crucial to maintaining the project’s integrity.
  4. Progress Inspections and Payment Requisitions: Architects often oversee project progress on behalf of the client, ensuring contractors’ payment requests match the completed work and purchased materials. This oversight prevents scenarios where the contractor has more work remaining than funds available, which could jeopardize project completion.

Hourly Charging for CA

Predicting the effort required for CA at the project’s outset is challenging, especially before selecting a General Contractor.
